MGS Mouthwash tablets are manufactured under strictly controlled environmental conditions, rigorously quality tested and continually evaluated by dental surgeons. MGS Mouthwash tablets supplied in five different brilliant colour and flavour combinations to give a perfect invigorating mouth refreshing wash at home for prophylaxis use, or as a mouth rinse during dental treatment.

Indications

MGS Mouthwash tablets can be used after all dental procedures to facilitate the cleaning of teeth and gums. The optimized tablet formula is especially recommended for:

A mildly antiseptic mouth gargle and mouth rinse during and after dental treatment.

The removal of debris and saliva from the oral cavity by the mouthwash's ability to reduce the surface tension, making it easier for the patient to be able to rinse thoroughly.

Removal of blood and tooth debris from the operative site.

Mouth refresher, giving the patient a sense of well being.

MGS Mouthwash is non acidic, making it non irritant when used to irrigate open wounds caused as a result of dental treatment

Composition

Calculated as dry tablet % w/w:

Sodium Benzoate ~ 5.23; Menthol - 0.14; Thymol ~ 0.13; EEC approved colouring and flavouring ~ trace; Effervescent base q.s.p. ~ 100.

Presentation

Typically 28 tablets per bottle or tub in following colour and flavour combinations: Green/Mint.

Mode of administration

Drop two tablets into a tumbler full of clean tap water (approximately 200ml). Allow the effervescent tablets to fully dissolve, which should not take more than 3 minutes for water at room temperature. Then ask the patient to take a mouthfull and rinse the solution around the teeth and gums for up to 30 seconds and spit out. Repeat as required.
